In the list widget pressing a letter key selects the list item begining with this letter. The problem is that the list behave the same way, even when holding ALT or CTRL keys while pressing the letter key.
In SWT holding the CTRL key in the same case also does not make any difference (holding ALT does). Anyway, for a web application it is good to have those CTRL+L, CTRL+H etc. shortcuts working instead the corresponding events to be swallowed by the list.
