This defect was reproduced using Eclipse three-way compare. See attached screen shots where 3 copies of the same file, each with a minor difference. The first screen shot shows the 3-way compare, as well as the content of each file including the ancestor (top pane) To reproduce the defect, reproduce the scenario shown in the first screen shot. 1. Create a general project and add a text file called "File1.txt" with one line of text "line1" 2. Copy paste that same file twice, and for Copy 1, change the text line to "lind" 3. For the second copy, change the text line to "line 1" (a space between line and 1) 4. Save all three files 5. In the Project Explorer select all three files and select context menu action "Compare With -> Each Other" 6. Select File1.txt as the ancestor. 7. When the compare editor opens, press the "Show Ancestor Pane" button if it is necessary to see the content of the ancestor. 8. Copy 2 of the file should be the left pane, and the first copy the right pane in the compare editor 9. Press the button "Copy current change from left to right" 10. Close the editor WITHOUT saving 11. The second screen shot shows the save resources dialogue and it shows the left file (i.e. the second copy) twice in the dialogue.
