Description Brian Matzon CLA 2002-12-17 17:25:24 EST
A feature that I am sorely missing from Eclipse (which is in NetBeans) is the
possibility of compltion of current word, by cycling next or last word matching
the currently typed word. (CTRL+K, CTRL+L in NetBeans).

If typing the word 'associatedContextWrapper' it is a bit of a hassle to type
that word all the time - it is much easier to just type 'as' and then cycle
forwards or backwards for matching words. I know this feature overlaps
CTRL+SPACE - but it differs very much. Especially in being able to cycle both
words from code and comments.

I think it is a duplicate of bug #11668
Comment 2 Brian Matzon CLA 2003-09-29 18:54:30 EDT
Well, I wouldn't call it a duplicate per se. However they are quite similar -
except the other implementation only searches forward. Add both directions along
with selectable shortcuts and I'll be happy :)

Accepting resolve as duplicate if wanted.

Normally we also read the duplicate comments when fixing a PR that has duplicates.
