The org.eclipse.papyrus.diagram.com can be considered as the core of the UML Editor. 
Thus, it needs to be as clear as possible. 

Some refactor on this plugin is then required.

I think it is still relevant. 
In this plug-in we find some specific code to UML and some code that could be re-used in others DSL editor based on MDT Papyrus.

This plug-in should be splitted into two plug-ins. A generic one, and a UML one.

now there are two plugins: 
/org.eclipse.papyrus.infra.gmfdiag.common (independent from UML)
/org.eclipse.papyrus.uml.diagram.common (dependent of UML)

So I close this bug
