As of the past few days, this is now possible.

ant runTests

We may want to make that the default target (see bug #290447).  I don't know if adding a few hours to the build is acceptable, though :)

Something broke here :(  I'm going to bump this to 0.5 so that we can get 0.4 out the door.

Hmm, I can't reproduce the failure.  It seems to be working just fine again.
