There are currently two bugs open that require fixes in the JSPELParser and because this is generated using JJTree and JavaCC and then the generated code has to be slightly modified it will be easier if both fixes can be put in at the same time.

Fix Patch

This patch fixes two issues:

* empty parenthesis on a function call in EL (Bug 276620)
* conditional statements not being parsed correctly (Bug 258623)
