Description Gunnar Wagenknecht CLA 2002-12-07 02:02:12 EST
I use the Outline Vie to navigate through my source code but with I20021204
there seems to be a new feature.

When I select something in the Outline View the Java editor hides the full
source and only displays the source of the selected member.

How can I trun this off?
Comment 1 Gunnar Wagenknecht CLA 2002-12-07 02:05:40 EST
Same happens when I search for something and double click on a result to open
it.

Worked the whole weekend without finding an option for turning this off. Not
really usable.

IMHO It would be better to provide a mechanisme of collapse a whole text
passage like Macromedia HomeSite 5.0 and above or other editors provides it.

it's a toolbar button:
'show source of selected element only'
maybe you have it pressed by mistake

Thanks a lot. Sometimes life could be so easy :)
Never recognized this button. Thought it is a preference option.

Thanks,
Gunnar

PS: Think its time to close this bug :)

closing then
you can add yourself as cc to bug 20155
which advocates moving this 'preference' to some more intuitive location
