1) starting with a clean eclipse-platform-3.5RC1-win32.zip, and new workspace
2) Install new software
3) In 'Work with:':  "http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/3.5-I-builds"

 -> Error Contacting site, No software site found at http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/3.5-I-builds.  Do you wish to edit the location?

Notice the progress, it is still trying to contact the site.  when it is finished it will show the correct contents for the site.


I have occasionally gotten worse looking error messages about socket problems, but in the end it still works.  Perhaps there is a problem loading a child repo?
