Description Pascal Rapicault CLA 2009-04-14 22:15:36 EDT
HEAD
When I install something with an unsatisfiable dependency from the Admin UI, the explanation returned by the plan is not shown and instead I see "An unexpected error occurred. This wizard is no longer valid with the current selections."

PreselectedIUInstallWizard patch

It appears that nothing could be installed through the AdminUI. This change passes the initial resolution and root IU to the SelectableIUsPage when created which corrects the problem.

Susan, when you will have a moment, could you please look at this ( I have not looked at the patch). In the case that I have seen, it also fails installing valid things.

I'll take a look (if a bug doesn't have a milestone it's not on my radar, so I'll mark this M7)
Comment 4 Susan McCourt CLA 2009-04-24 16:58:52 EDT
I broke this while refactoring the responsibilities for planning in bug 261928.
Thanks for the patch, Matt.
