Appearance properties shall support modification on a multi selection (probably referenced by your specification but I currently cannot access the doc).

For information, the Property View framework provided by Rémi will supports this feature.

You are right. 
This specification is a bit out of date. 

I think we could re-use some of the requirements described in this document (if any relevant) as bugzilla task and then close this bug if it is ok with everyone.

This task shall not be part of the Papyrus bugzilla task. Its content shall be part of the wiki of Papyrus.
