Build ID: I20090313-0100 Steps To Reproduce: 1. Create a C project and starts Debug configurations.. Then create a new config under C/C++ Application. There're two Debugger tabs. The first one has gdb/mi and the second one has gdb server debugger. Similarly create a new config under "C/C++ Attach to Application". There're also two Debugger tabs. The first one has gdb/mi and gdb server debugger listed. The second one has red cross mark and has no debugger is listed. Postmortem Debugger has only one tab and looks ok. More information:
If you look a the bottom of your launch window you will see a link that allows you to specify which debugger to use: the Standard (CDI) or the new DSF-GDB one. Once you have selected your debugger, the extra tabs will disappear. You can also set a default in the preferences (which you can access through the link I just mentionned.) There are a couple of bugs open about the fact that multiple tabs are showing up at the start. I don't have their number off the top of my head... This bug should probably be marked as a duplicate of one of these platform bugs, but I'll let Ken deal with it since it is not in my component.
Technically speaking this bug is a duplicate of bug 262840, but it also relates to a larger usability problem with the multiple launchers in CDT 6.0. I filed a separate bug to track that issue: bug 270334. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 262840 ***
(In reply to comment #2) > I filed a separate bug to track that issue: bug 270334. Oops, make that bug 270469.
