* Post updated Mylyn screenshot * Add WikiText release link
I really liked the entry point of for OpenOffice: http://www.openoffice.org/ . Particularly that they had a link for extensions (and developers) on the front page: "I want to do more with my OpenOffice.org" The same could make sense for Mylyn, e.g. point to a page with extensions supported by Member companies or committers and a link to the Extensions wiki page.

Mylyn Screenshot updated. David, which resource do you want to link to in the news?
Can you elaborate on your question? It's not clear to me what you're asking.
Sorry, at some point we'd talked bout linking to the WikiText release in the news section of the mylyn homepage (if I recall correctly). If so, where would you like this to link to (blog, n&n, wiki)?

Rob: Afaik the thing that we decided is to update the paragraph description of the project to include WikiText, in order to help promote WikiText and to improve the overview of the project. We should take a pass at redoing that paragraph before doing any additional linking or structural improvements to the page. Let's discuss on Thursday's call.
Added link to Eclipse Corner Articles on developer site.
Also consider updating the download page: http://www.eclipse.org/newsportal/article.php?id=1813&group=eclipse.tools.mylyn#1813
Updated description for news group to (http://eclipse.org/projects/project_summary.php?projectid=tools.mylyn ): User community discussions on Mylyn usage and troubleshooting. Developers extending Mylyn should refer to http://eclipse.org/mylyn/developers/.
Great.
* Added baseline section to developers page: http://eclipse.org/mylyn/developers/
Added Twitter feed for #mylyn to front page.
I find the twitter applet very distracting while it adds little value. In my opinion the screenshot is much more appealing and usually the first thing I look for when browsing a project site to get a quick sense what a tool is all about. Is there a smaller twitter appliance that we can embed to restore the screenshot?

David: No problem. Anyone making significant contributions to Mylyn and tweeting about them can request a follow link there. Steffen: I updated page to improve the layout, put back the screenshot, and shrink the Twitter widget. While it does incur some distraction, Twitter has been demonstrated as a successful channel for community communcation around specific topics, OSS projects and otherwise. Let's try it out for a while and see how it works.
Stale.
