Description Steffen Pingel CLA 2009-03-04 19:20:46 EST
Open type and open resource dialogs occasionally show the wrong match in the list (see screenshots). When I press enter the file based on the entered filter text is opened and not the wrong filename that is displayed.

Could be a problem with refresh of the label provider.

stuck labels

Not sure if it's related: Looks like the delayed refresh is not always updating labels.

Boris, do you have a good pointer what might be causing this bug and where I could start debugging?

Can you disable colored labels (Window > Preferences > General > Appearance) and try again? Does the problem go away?

If yes, the bug is caused by using owner draw. Does it happen on all platforms?

I'll try that but I remember seeing the bug with 3.5M4 as well which did not have the coloring. I have not seen any else report it but then I am currently the only one in the office running on 3.5.

M4 did not have the bolding, but it did have coloring (lighter color for additional information).

Ah, I had no idea. That would explain why I was seeing it with M4 as well.

Seems to work as expected with the configuration setting disabled. Moving to Platform.
