I was using I20090303-0800 this morning, got notification that I20090304-0834 was available, installed it and now Eclipse will not start.

I didn't follow DJ's instructions (http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/eclipse-dev/msg08560.html) so this is probably a dup of something (bug 266884?).

I think that you may have referenced the wrong bug in your duplicate resolution
