Recent changes to the directory cleaner, that mainly fixed wrong default excludes and used some standard java.io-API to filter files, altered the behavior of the component. Instead of merging the default excludes and the custom ones, the default excludes will be hidden or vice versa. 

The attached patch restores the old functionality.
