I20090210-0950. I use the Debug perspective as it comes per default. Normally when I debug I have the 'Variables' view in front and then I miss to see whether 'Skip All Breakpoints' is enabled. I suggest to do the same as the 'JUnit' view: if the view is hidden or a fast view, then show the state in the view icon.
Dani, did you intend to file this bug against Platform Debug?
Debug - scrolled the mouse wheel too fast ;-)
This would also be solved if there's a Debug main toolbar.
I added this skip-all action to the new debug toolbar. http://git.eclipse.org/c/platform/eclipse.platform.debug.git/commit/?id=73c7f0938b112a86bd588ca329071f285d829490
+1 shows up and works as expected in the toolbar. bug 258767 (comment #70 onward) has some more discussion about the utility of having this appear by default in the toolbar.
I've adjusted the summary as the fix was not to show it in the view icon.
