Description John Arthorne CLA 2009-01-27 17:15:52 EST
On this page:

http://babel.eclipse.org/babel/map_files.php

There is a combo box for selecting the corresponding release train. Since Galileo isn't in the list, it doesn't seem to be possible to submit translation map file data for the Galileo train (which is a "must do" for release train projects).
Comment 1 Antoine Toulmé CLA 2009-01-27 17:19:40 EST
We can add it to the DB. This is still relatively new.
Comment 2 Denis Roy CLA 2009-01-27 17:27:51 EST
FWIW, this is intentional. We want to wait till teams are closer to their freeze before making Galileo an option.
Comment 3 John Arthorne CLA 2009-01-27 18:11:59 EST
Tom also pointed out that it asks for the version tag for our map file, which means we can't provide it until *after* we have shipped our 3.5 release if I'm understanding it correctly.
Comment 4 Denis Roy CLA 2009-01-27 18:31:28 EST
No, we can point to HEAD. We would then update the links to point to the release tag once it's there.

Our intention was to get the Galileo train running at the beginning of March. Is that okay?
Comment 5 John Arthorne CLA 2009-01-28 08:38:41 EST
Early March would be fine. According to the release train "must dos", we need to do this by M6 which is March 13th.
Comment 6 Denis Roy CLA 2009-03-09 14:36:11 EDT
Galileo is now an option in Babel. I'll be sending a notice to the cross-project mailing list shortly to announce this, as well as some basic Babel how-to.
