To move WikiText out of incubation it should be available on the following update sites http://download.eclipse.org/tools/mylyn/update/weekly/e3.4 http://download.eclipse.org/tools/mylyn/update/weekly/e3.3
I was thinking that Wikitext would be on the extras update site, since it is not a Galileo component: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Mylyn_User_Guide#Project_Structure . On the other hand, we have agreed that it is mature and it is committer supported. Mik, what are your thoughts on this?
(In reply to comment #1) > I was thinking that Wikitext would be on the extras update site, since it is not a Galileo component Is there a reason that WikiText should not be a Galileo component?
We should discuss that on the next Mylyn call.
per the conference call this is a go. Should I leave it to you Steffen or create a patch?
I'll do it for the next weekly build.
(In reply to comment #5) > I'll do it for the next weekly build. great, thanks!

I have triggered weekly build 3.1.0.I20090116-0500 which should be available from the update site in a few hours. David, can you test that everything is in the right place? Left to do: Update the download page and send out an announcement to mylyn-integrators/dev.

It would be great if you could send out the announcement that Wikitext has moved update sites.
(In reply to comment #10) > It would be great if you could send out the announcement that Wikitext has moved > update sites. Sounds good... would this coincide with the announcement about WikiText coming out of incubation, or would it be a simple email to the mylyn-dev list?
I had a quick chat with Mik. For now it's best to just write a simple mail mylyn-dev and do the announcement that WikiText is out of incubation later as part of the Mylyn 3.1 release.
email to mylyn-dev done
