Description Carl Anderson CLA 2009-01-12 16:06:24 EST
Currently, the schemas for Java EE are in org.eclipse.jst.standard.schemas plugin. In Eclipse 3.1, we are introducing support for Java EE 6. As such, it would be a great benefit to add the Java EE 6 schemas to that plugin.

Please note that, as part of this process, a committer for SourceEditing should submit a contribution questionnaire via the Eclipse Foundation Portal.

Carl, can you start by listing the URLs to the specific schemas you want included?
Comment 2 Carl Anderson CLA 2009-01-13 11:13:36 EST
The schemas should soon be made publicly available.
Comment 3 David Williams CLA 2009-01-13 12:25:26 EST
Carl, when you say "soon" do you have anything more exact or a range? The reason I ask is that the Eclipse Foundation has asked we submit CQ's required for Galileo by the end of January ... so they can budget their work and time.

If you think it'll be after that, we'll enter a "place holder" CQ with our best description of what they will be and our best estimate of when.

Thanks.

Umm, a year ago this seemed like something that was going to happen shortly, but its been a year and this is still open. Is this something that has already happened and just never got closed out or has it been delayed?
Comment 5 Kaloyan Raev CLA 2010-04-07 10:44:06 EDT
Carl, aren't these schemas already added as part of bug 252615?
Comment 6 Carl Anderson CLA 2010-04-07 15:07:07 EDT
I opened mine first, but we went with Kaloyan's bug.
