Created attachment 121573 [details] BIRT 2.3.1 Translation.
Yasuo (Doshiro-san ?), we need this information: who worked on the translations who holds the copyright and if a tool was used Please note we may need to flush out further confirmations dependent upon how the contributor responds but we will also need confirmation that they have the rights to donate the contribution to Eclipse and that the file headers contain the EPL (the EPL headers are a plus it seems now). Give me this info, I will open a CQ then.
Opened IPZilla CQ: https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2927
This submission was approved and will be checked into Babel ASAP.
The contribution was checked on staging. Please look at: http://babel.eclipse.org/staging/recent.php and let us know if there is anything wrong with it. On your approval, I will push your contribution to the live server.
Looks like it doesn't go too well. Something is wrong with the import. The properties files are encoded: preference.birt=\u62a5\u8868\u8bbe\u8ba1 Investigating why it doesn't work too well.
Weird, the records in the DB show ok: Um Elemente aus der Bibliothek anzuzeigen, klicken Sie in der Gliederungsansicht auf ein Berichtobjekt.\n\nFügen Sie der Bibliothek visuelle Elemente hinzu, indem Sie Berichtobjekte von der Palette in die Bibliothek ziehen oder das Menü 'Einfügen' verwenden. Notice the umlauts.
Somehow the translation shows ok in the translation UI: http://babel.eclipse.org/staging/translate.php?project=birt&version=2.3.0&file=source/org.eclipse.birt.chart.engine.extension/src/org/eclipse/birt/chart/engine/extension/i18n/nls.properties&string=exception.stock.entry.invalid.high I will redo a whole import of the contribution. I fear the recent translations page has a bug or something.
OK, the import was redone, please let me know what you think.
If everybody is happy with it, I will commit it tomorrow.
Doshiro-san, were those translations made by experts and tested in context ?
Yes, these are translated by professional translator and we paid all the cost. For new UI, I usually send the screen shots to the translators and they check the translation.
The translations were contributed to Babel. You can see them here: http://babel.eclipse.org/babel/recent.php?userid=18673 Thank you very much for your contribution!
