When you select "Add related artifacts..." from an artifact in a class diagram you are presented with a dialogue of check-boxes, one for each mechanism through which artifacts can be related, e.g. artifacts extended by this artifact, artifacts associated with this artifact.

If would be nice that following selection of some of the check-boxes there was an option to Finish or Filter. The Filter option would then give you a list of all the artifacts that would be added according to your selection of check-boxes in the dialogue above. Next to each of these artifacts would be a check-box allowing you to de-select that artifact from addition to the class diagram.

In a complex model it is possible to have 10's of classes associated with any single class. The current course granularity with which you can select what you want to add to a diagram can become very inefficient - finding and deleting what you did not want to add.
