Description Saburouta Yamada CLA 2008-11-04 23:39:54 EST
The reproduction procedure of the malfunction is as follows.

1) select "Help"-"Software Update"
2) Try to input filter strings

But

A search begins just to have input 1 character

Hello Saburouta,

i think you wrongly assigned this issue to "g"-Eclipse.

Not sure i understand what you mean by "A search begins just to have input 1 character" but in any case it is a platform or p2 issue. I will reassign to Eclipse platform.

Reassigning to platform

This problem as been addressed in M3 as part of the UI rework.

This can still be an issue if repositories get added and are loading and the user tries to filter. I'm looking at filtering in light of the new workflows in the duplicate bug...
