I got at least three of these emails into webmaster@ this week so far: I want to download Eclipse 3.2.1 for developing some C/C++ projekt. I can't find it. Could you give me a link to get this Version? I know we don't want to make any one project stand out more than others, but finding an older version of Eclipse is nearly impossible. Any suggestions?
During our call, the proposed solution was to create an 'Older releases' page, and link to it next to the Ganymede version identifier on the current download page. Here is some of the supporting feedback: I want to download Eclipse 3.2.1 for developing some C/C++ projekt. Could you give me a link to get this Version? I always struggle looking through your page for past releases... Many of the plugins I use are version dependent, can you please send me a link to the past builds page, or make it more prominent somewhere? Specifically I'm looking for 3.3. I'm trying to get the release 3.1.0 of Eclipse .. Do you know where can I download it .. I need the same for linux from where can I get eclipse 3.0 I am not able to find the same on eclipse.org/downloads. Please enlighten. etc etc etc
Nate, have you started this? If not please assign it to me and I'll get 'er done.
Thought i committed this. In any case it's committed now. Pointed the Older Versions link to a wiki page here -> http://wiki.eclipse.org/Older_Versions_Of_Eclipse So projects can update it accordingly.
Perfect, thanks. Closing as fixed.
