Description DJ Houghton CLA 2008-10-27 15:33:14 EDT
build I20081021-0905

Sorry I thought I remembered seeing this bug report around before but I can't find it so I'm entering it now. (maybe for the second time)

- run SDK (signed JARs)
- make target platform same as dev (default)
- import a plug-in project as binary from the target platform (e.g. org.eclipse.equinox.p2.reconciler.dropins)
- Export -> Product
- look at the reconciler bundle in the exported product

Specifically the manifest is missing the signing information but the bundle contains the extra files so when OSGi tries to load it, bad things happen.

Will retaining the signing information from the original manifest file be enough to solve this? If so, it will be fixed by the changes in bug 245565.
Comment 2 Eclipse Genie CLA 2019-08-20 13:24:21 EDT
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
