It is my understanding that if I use p2 to build a repository of 20 different things someone can download, there is no way to track how many downloads of each of those 20 things occur unless I don't use mirrors at all.

If my thinking is correct, please consider this a request to implement a mechanism to track user downloads of individual features within a p2 repo even if mirrors are used for the actual file download.
