Description Denis Roy CLA 2008-10-20 10:32:52 EDT
Our First Ever Friends became friends on Nov. 30 2007 and will soon expire, but we don't have a warning strategy in place to allow them to renew. When we implemented the Friends program last year, we agreed to cross that bridge when we got there.

We're there.

I looked at this with Nathan, and I believe all I need to do is create a cron job that will remind users that their friends record is expiring in, say, 2 weeks. If the friend decides to not renew, the same cronjob will eventually see the expired transaction and set is_benefit = 0 in the database.

The script is written. Just waiting for Ian's input on the email text.

This is done, the cron job is in place and the emails have been revised.
