Description Dave Syer CLA 2008-10-14 06:17:22 EDT
Build ID: STS1.1.1

Steps To Reproduce:
1. Enter a new task with estimate e.g. 8d
2. Open issue in JIRA web GUI - shows as random value, e.g. 18d. I can't see any pattern here.

More information:
Mylyn doesn't translate JIRA values correctly either, so it's impossible to do time tracking. JIRA is "Enterprise Edition, Version: 3.12.3-#302".

http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Mylyn_FAQ#Why_does_the_estimated_time_displayed_in_the_task_editor_differ_from_the_web_interface.3F

Mylyn defaults to a day having 24 working hours and a week having 7 work days. You can change the time tracking settings in the in the Additional Settings section of the repository properties (Window > Show View > Task Repositories) to match the server configuration.
