In our application, we change the icon for open editors based on some properties of the instance being edited. Typically if something has a stereotype of a certain type on it, the icon gets changed to indicate this.

However, if the workbench is closed with such an editor "open", but without the focus, then on restart, the icon reverts to the base icon defined for the editor.


When the editor is selected, the icon gets refreshed and set to the correct value, but this is pretty confusing.

An editor which has the focus at start gets properly updated.
