I wanted to raise a Bugzilla on the tools-pmc or the tools top level project, so that the tools-pmc sees it (see Bug 248345 ).

There is no way to do this

I propose we create a new Bugzilla component under tools, other top level projects have this.

Not sure what to call it yet, ideas?

p.s. I need to get the tools-pmc cced on this bug.

In Modeling top level, Modeling bugzilla product Modeling and components Cross Project, Releng and Website.

In Webtools top level, there are WTP Website and WTP releng products.

May as well align with what modeler is already using:

Tools - releng for the common build (we are using Nick Boldt's build for GEF and PDT).
Tools - cross-project for Bug 248345 and the tools branding idea.
Tools - Website

Unless the tools PMC has further suggestions, I say that webmaster needs to create:

Tools - releng
Tools - cross-project
Tools - website
