Our company is seriously considering migrating to an SWT/RWT solution. Since our application uses property editors (and hence cell editors) all over not having cell editors means RAP is a NOGO for us ... this would be a pity, since we are very fond of idea of RAP. I wonder if there are already specific plans. If, lets say, cell editors are planned for RAP 1.2 and this release would ship within a year from now we could opt for this solution, use beta releases for re-building the application and help testing along the way. Personally I also need cell editors to have better RWT support for my Open Source SWT widget library in the future. Some of of these widgets use editable property tables as well. So, is anything decided already?
Cell Editors are planned for the 1.2 development cycle (see http://www.eclipse.org/projects/project-plan.php?projectid=technology.rap), thus will be available in about a year. Though this is a draft plan, Cell Editors are set and _currently_ scheduled for end of this year.
