Description Hubert Leung CLA 2008-08-28 13:48:55 EDT
build: COSMOS-1.0.0-200808281255

The folders under "Sample Repository with Query" cannot be opened. The predefined queries under these folders cannot be executed.
Comment 1 Sheldon Lee-Loy CLA 2008-09-03 11:49:23 EDT
Try refreshing the browser. I think there's a timing issue.
Comment 2 Leonard Richardson CLA 2008-09-04 04:36:12 EDT
This is how to reproduce the problem consistently.

1) Start up Cosmos in your browser or do a refresh
2) Expand "Sample Repository with Registration" or "Resource Repository" by clicking the + tree icon
3) Expand "Sample Repository with Query"

The Staff01 and Staff02 folders appear but it is not possible to expand them. Clicking them just shows the waiting icon. This behavior is the same in both Firefox and IE.

Basic workaround:

After starting or reloading Cosmos in your browser, always expand the "Sample Repository with Query" first.

Patch for bug

The fix is a two line change. It's a low risk fix and should be in the i13 driver.

Leonard, can you apply the patch and verify the fix.

Martin, you will need to ask for a respin of the build once Leonard has checked in the fix.
Comment 4 John Devine CLA 2008-09-04 14:41:31 EDT
Sheldon, Len is OOTO from Friday through Sept 12th. Martin is busy this week, but will submit this before next weeks build.
Comment 5 Martin D Simmonds CLA 2008-09-11 05:53:53 EDT
I added Sheldon's patch, and updated CVS.
Comment 6 Leonard Richardson CLA 2008-09-15 06:21:16 EDT
This now appears to have been fixed.
