The failures are caused by changes made in bug 240856. Tests testSimpleHost and testHostPattern failed on all platforms. All tests (6 out of 6) failed on Mac. See the URL for more details.

Failures was caused by using system proxy during the tests.

The fix looks good. The existing assertion in NetTest#setProxiesEnabled is wrong though. Pawel will raise a separate bug to fix it.
