Description David Whiteman CLA 2008-08-14 09:08:59 EDT
The change introduced by bug 235651 will require the MDR toolkit to change as well so that it references the new axis2 bundle rather than copying the previous jar around.

I'm starting to wonder if this is even necessary. I tested the toolkit in the latest integration build without any changes related to this defect, and it seemed to work fine. Is that your expectation as well, Hubert? Or to truly test it, do I need to clear out the Axis2 directory from the properties?

If the toolkit plugins don't require copying axis2 jar files into the project to compile the code, you don't need to make any changes. I took a quick look at dmtoolkit.common and dmtoolkit.j2ee. I don't see references to axis jar files in manifest file or .classpath file. So they look fine to me.

You said you weren't sure if you need to "clear out the Axis2 directory from the properties". Which properties were you referring to?

The place in the Eclipse properties where you indicate the location of Axis2 on your machine. I'm guessing that is still required, since WTP requires it.

Right, you can keep that setting.
Comment 5 David Whiteman CLA 2008-08-29 11:58:31 EDT
