Description John Reysa CLA 2008-07-09 23:04:49 EDT
The Text widget does update the primary buffer when text is selected in it (so I can go from eclipse to a terminal). However, if I select text outside eclipse, a middle mouse click on the Text widget does not copy the data from the primary buffer.

The StyledText widget seems to handle this behavior correctly (middle mouse click on the StyledText widget inserts the text correctly).

We have a ton of Text widgets in our UI and their border looks better than the StyledText so it would be nice if there is an easy fix for this.

Grant Gayed indicated it looks like a SWT bug since it occurs on both Linux-Motif and AIX-Motif, yet Linux-GTK worked correctly.
