Service model serialization in RDT has been fixed so it's safe to re-enable the framework that those components call into.  I've attached a patch that makes this happen.

I get errors when I try to apply this patch. Can you check the patch against HEAD?

New patch

I checked the original patch and it applies against HEAD cleanly.  Not sure what went wrong...

I've redone the patch because I had to add some checks in case a file was missing.  Let me know if this applies cleanly against HEAD.
