I regularly receive an IAE when reviewing changes to files after "synchronizing" with our CVS repository. I double-click on a file in the Synchronize view and receive an error dialog stating:

    An error has occurred. See error log for more details.
    java.lang.IllegalArgumentException

The appropriate stack trace is attached.

This has been already reported by Boris in bug 236472. See bug 236472, comment 5, bullet 2 for possible cause and solution.
