Description Bob Tiernay CLA 2008-06-13 17:02:44 EDT
The default search tab should be configurable such that one of three modes are possible:

1. Current editor type search tab (the only choice currently)
2. Last used search tab
3. Specified value search tab

Only 1. exists today. 2. and 3. would be valuable additions for those who mainly do text type searching, not caring about the actual file syntax, etc. as the java search does, for example.

This should be configurable in the CTRL+H customize dialog and could also be configured in Window | Perferences -> General -> Search

3. can be done via Keys preference page
