Description Tom Brennan CLA 2008-06-11 13:52:51 EDT
I downloaded and installed eclipse-cpp-ganymede-RC3-linux-gtk-x86_64, but it wouldn't run the first time (and every other time). This is on SuSE 11.0.
Error was
!ENTRY org.eclipse.osgi 4 0 2008-06-11 10:14:00.863
!MESSAGE Application error
!STACK 1
org.eclipse.swt.SWTError: XPCOM error -2147467262

I still had the M7 package, so I deleted RC3 and re-installed that, and it worked.
(Package size is smaller on RC3, too.)

I checked it once again on my machine and it did work without problems (Debian Lenny, Sun JRE 1.6 64-Bit).
And RC3 (69M) is bigger than M7 (67M). I assume this is caused by the additional Mylyn features that are now part of the CPP package.

Re-assigning to Platform SWT, maybe they can help?
