Target Platform from Run Configurations

Build ID: I20080530-1730

Steps To Reproduce:
In the Target Platform Preferences page there should be a setting when adding required plug-ins to say whether to include optional plugins.

For example, I'm selecting the org.eclipse.ui.ide.application and org.eclipse.ui.ide then adding the required plugins ... result, some more plugins are selected.

But then, when I go into the Run Configurations, do the same thing again (but this time I have a button to uncheck for including optional plugins), I get a subset of plugins selected.

My best guess, is that if the "include optional plugins" button was added to the Target Platform Preference page, there would be no discrepancy between the target platforms.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

Please remove the stalebug flag, if this issue is still relevant and can be reproduced on the latest release.
