<response_by> Moravia IT at 2008.05.30.11.57.37 </response_by> This is tct625 split into parts. OS: Linux Build date: 0528 Component/Function name: BIRT Blocking: NO Tester Name: Kamil Ignacak Steps to recreate the problem: 1) Open New Project dialog from Eclipse File menu, expand Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools-> Report Project and click Next. 2) Type any Project name on Report Project name field and click Finish. Note: Open Associated Perspective dialog is displayed. 3) Click Yes if you are ready to start the test so that Eclipse displayed BIRT perspective. 4) Start Eclipse and change the Perspective to Report Designer from Window->Open Perspective->Other? 5) On Navigator view, right click the project and select Import, select File System, and select the Test_Report_1.rptdesign and Test_Report_1.properties. Then, click Finish. 6) Double click the Test_Report_1.rptdesign on Navigator view. Note: The report design is displayed. 7) Click anywhere on the report and select General property. 8) Click CUSTOMNAME text control on the report and select the General Property. 9) Click on the Advanced node in the Property Editor panel Problem description: Some items in Advanced tab have values with units (like 0pt in Data -> Box -> Margin Left). When I click on one of the values to edit it, a small button appears that allows me to open "Dimension Builder" dialog window. The problem is that value units in this window are not externalized. I think that they should be, at least "in" (correct me if I'm wrong). Please see attached screenshot. <cde:tctdetail> Testcase: BIRT/4.002710 Project: WSW34 Component: Xfer - BIRT/Report Designer Priority: 3 Subject: PLK: untranslated strings in "Dimension Builder" Article ID: 664 Originator: tctbroadcast@pl.moraviaworldwide.com </cde:tctdetail>
The solution is to make the base dialog resizable and the layout can automatically fit the resizing change.
Wrong operation, please ignore above comment.
<response_by> Moravia IT at 2008.06.12.09.01.21 </response_by> Hi, Additional problem in Dimension Builder dialog window is that decimal point is dot instead of comma. It shoudl be comma in Polish build. Please investigate. Kamil

<response_by> John Ryding at 2008.06.12.11.34.47 </response_by> This has been deferred. It will be considered for the 3.4.1 service pack.
Need use localized string in Dimension Builder.
Changed the texts of the buttons from "unitName" to a localized form "displayName" (Some of the unitnames are still in abbrev. forms. These are returned by model part.); Changed the property's displayed units. Only the allowed units of a property are displayed and can be selected on this dialog. Changed the form of the measure data. The displayed measure data is now loccale-dependent.
