Description Eric Jodet CLA 2008-05-26 03:17:51 EDT
Build id: I20080523-0100

context: reverting back some changes using the synchronize view. While in the Team Synchronizing perspective:
- selected a class in the left-hand tree
- selected some change in corresponding compare editor
- selected "copy current change from right to left"
- saved my changes in the dirty (left) editor
--> SWTException is logged - the workbench / editors remain usable

I performed several times the same steps, and had the exception each time.

I wasn't able to reproduce this nut forwarding to the Team team for further comment.

Of course I meant to say "but forwarding to the Team team for further
comment."

Obviously the OperationCanceledException is not handled properly (ie caught in a proper place). However, I'm even more concerned why it was thrown, Eric hasn't mentioned canceling the operation. Is it possible that another thread/job set the JavaStructureCreator's monitor status to canceled? I guess it is, we can say it from the log, the question is what and why cancels it.
