A screenshot showing a separator between the Collapse All and Expand All buttons

Steps To Reproduce:
Open Team Synchronization perspective, look at Synchronize view.

More information:
Most likely, the separator between the Collapse All and Expand All buttons
should be right of the Expand All button.

This may look like a trivial bug, but the separator between these buttons has
caused me to overlook them and (quietly) curse Eclipse for not allowing Expand
All with a simple mouse click!

I am adding a screenshot indicating these buttons.

This bug is a repost of https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=229792. Szymon Brandys writes he does not experience this problem. I do have other plugins active, notably Pydev and AnyEdit Tools.

I've just added an attachment (sorry for doing this twice - mylyn reports some connection problems) showing the subclipse buttons order.
Technically we can do the same, but we think that should be near each other.
The problem is that the clients can contribute only to the left side of the toolbar - so between two evils we have chosen the variant you are reporting as a bug...

So, what do you think?
Comment 4 Joost Cassee CLA 2008-05-07 07:55:31 EDT
I see what you mean. If you can only add to the left of a toolbar then the solution you have chosen is definitely the best.

Some people are requesting the Expand All button be added in the Eclipse Platform itself: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=169633. Developers seem less than enthusiastic.

I am closing this bug as the current functionality is the best available. Thanks for your time.

Reopening to remove our own Expand All button, when the patch provided to Team Services is applied.

Fixed.
