Over the past couple of days Nathan rewrote the Planet Eclipse theme to play nicer with old IEs and large blog content. This bug is to socialite votes for pushing this new theme live. There are two versions: 1. http://planet.eclipse.org/planet-new/ 2. http://planet.eclipse.org/planet-new/index2.html The second has the menu bar removed. The idea of the menu bar is to provide links to different feeds. Currently we only support the "main" Planet Eclipse feed plus an EclipseCon specific feed (which basically filters the main feed for EclipseCon content). However, it turned out that this filtering is tricky and not working all the times. Phoenix committers, please vote and indicated if you agree with removing the menu bar or not.
+1 (with or without menu bar)
+1 without the menubar. Let's leave it commented out or something, because I can see it being useful some day.
cc'ing the rest of Phoenix -- folks, please read comment 0 and vote!
+1 without the menu bar. I'd like to state that i'm not against having a menu bar at all. Just currently it seems redundant. In the future when we have these other feeds working i'll have no problem +1'ing the menu bar back in.
+1 w/o the menubar
+1 w/o the menu bar
Do we have a voting duration (like with committer votes)? If not I'd like to push this live tomorrow. :)
I tried to push it live but it failed due to some missing directory permissions.
