Description Duncan Keysell CLA 2008-04-09 09:19:26 EDT
If you select an artifact in class diagram and right-click and select "Add Related Artifacts" then you can select "Artifacts that his artifact refers to".

I guess that option is supposed to show all the artifacts that are referred to by the artifact, but I have disabled the "show References" option in my current profile, so the option to choose "Artifacts that his artifact refers to" should also have been removed/greyed-out by the Profile when the profile removed the use of references.

Currently selecting this actually brings up the artifacts that the artifact extends.

e.g. on ..abstractCore.logicalResources.AccessPoint

Actually the initial description is incorrect. Just because the "show references" is disabled does not mean it is not useful to be able to select to add "Artifacts that this artifact referes to". Is it still useful. The attributes of non-simple type are just shown in-line when the "show references" has been disabled and it is still useful to be able to add those to the class diagram.

The only thing that needs to be fixed is that when you select add "Artifacts that this artifact refers to" it adds the artifact that this artifact extends. Which it should not, as there is a seperate option for that.

I just verified this and it seems to work as expected. Please reopen with more details if there are further issues.
