This is currently not possible with Dojo 1.0.2. Need to come up with a new dojo floating pane widget that is modal.

Changing Priority to P2. P2 - enhancements that are targeted for the iteration P3 - enhancements that could potentially be pushed out of the iteration
So far I have not been able to get a floating pane to display in the COSMOSUI. It just does not display, and gives no errors. The reason to use a floating pane is because it can be made resizable. Dialog boxes dont have a resize option. Standalone, I can get this to work. There is an added problem. In IE, the resizing does NOT work. I did try it under DOJO 1.1 and it does resize OK in IE. I am suggesting that this bug gets delayed until DOJO 1.1 is implemented. Without DOJO 1.1 you only get resizing in FireFox.

Sheldon, we need a decision if we can contain this in i11. As I understand it, DOJO dialogs cannot be resized, and refactoring these as floating panes has not advanced because floating panes do not seem to work under the COSMOS UI for either DOJO 1.0 or 1.1. Outside the COSMOS UI resizing a floating pane and only work for Firefox outside of the UI under DOJO 1.0, but will work for both Firefox and IE under 1.1. If we can't get floating panes working under the COSMOS UI at all this is moot. If we get past this hurdle, we still cannot address this for IE until DOJO 1.1 is approved for use. Jack

From the documentation of DOJO 1.0 it says that the floating pane layout is experimental. I'll move this ER to future.
Moving to i12 since we are upgrading to Dojo 1.1 in i12.
Making these ERs as Bugs since design docs aren't required.
Moving bugs to i13 as discussed in DV call.
Changing the priority of this bug as a "nice to have".
As discussed in the DV call it is not possible to create a resizable model dialog box using dojo. This is a limitation of the toolkit.
As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since this originator of this enhancement/defect has an inactive Bugzilla account and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open.
