1.Create an ear 5.0 project.
2.Start the ejb project wizard.
3.Select 3.0 as project version and chose to added it to the ear project.
4.On the last page the check box "Create and EJB Client Jar..." is active. "Generate deployment descriptor" is not. 

It should not be possible to create an ejb client jar module for an ejb project without creating a deployment descriptor for this project. Ejb Client is specified in the deployment descriptor under the ejbClientJar element.
