The generated query names when you use the query builder are difficult to distinguish.  There should be a way to rename the labels to something meaningful.

If we are now allowing the user to save queries we need to provide a user management system.

Couldn't one approach be to save them client-side in cookies?  That might not be our long term approach, but would probably satisfy 80% of usages, and would allow us to defer building a user mgmt system.
