Description Olivier Thomann CLA 2008-03-12 22:00:47 EDT
I tried to install several plugins using the new p2 installer from the IDE.
When I add new update site, the new features to install are added into the available features panel.
The problem is that after a while it is difficult to guess what new features have been installed to the "available features" panel.
The way these features are organized cannot be changed and the label under which they are available is unknown for the users. I cannot guess that name looking at the corresponding update site or I missed something.
It could be interesting to get the update site name in the "available features" panel in order to retrieve the new ones quickly. I can show you my actual contents for this list of available features and you see what I mean.

Available feature panel contents

You can see that it is not easy to match the list of available features with the corresponding update sites.

Olivier, I think most of what you are saying here is covered in bug #216028, which I expect to happen early in M7. Can you read that bug, and if you agree, close this as a duplicate?

Ok closing as a dup of bug 216028.
