Richard, I am struggling with regard to what to write in this section. The SDD tools are coming online for installing COSMOS, but I do not believe that we will have tools that an end user will be able to consume for the 1.0 release of COSMOS. As such, should I simply refer to SDD, what it *will* do, etc. or should it be included all together? Let me know how you would like to proceed.

I anticipate consumable SDD tools coming online in the i11 timeframe, but that will be well after the documentation deadline.

I propose that we simply talk about the SDD work and how it will address the deployment aspects of management enablement, but we do not attempt to document any of the tools as they are in quite a bit of flux in comparison with the rest of COSMOS. Thoughts? Thank you, -Jason

Updated target milestone to Future.

SDD is in research so we have decided to punt on documenting it in the user's guide. Moving to 1.1.

I assume this is still planned for integration with the user's guide.
Comment 7 Jason Losh CLA 2009-06-12 10:25:42 EDT
Moving to i7
