Description Andre Weinand CLA 2008-02-11 05:05:50 EST
Eclipse 3.4 M5

- open Preference dialog
- move Sash (between tree and content pane)

observe: pref window grows with every move

I'm unable to reproduce this on 3.4M5. Is there a particular page you're using to make this happen or does the General page cause this for you?
Comment 2 Andre Weinand CLA 2008-02-11 14:41:51 EST
Indeed, this doesn't occur on all pages.
But the odd effect starts for me on the Java/Editor page.
BTW, this is on Mac OS X 10.4.11.

The layout code for the preferences dialog is best described as "fickle." I'm not at all surprised that this behaviour exists.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
